I had to dash off a little because it’s next Saturday in a new squat in Brest!
I made this artwork for my friends of Broken. It’s a k7 live split with Mentos Coca (another local band) in support to the Zone A Défendre (Area to defend) in Notre-Dame-des-Landes near the big city of Nantes. This little village surrounded by a vast rural area is threatened for years by an unnecessary airport project. Unnecessary because there’s already an aeroport not far from there, some greedy morons just want to create another place of financial attractiveness. Therefore it became a self-ruled community squatted by people from everywhere, where police are frequently kicked out if they come to evict squatters. it’s the best tactic to prevent the building company to start the job. And what a surprise! The building company is Vinci, the same bastards who want to destroy Khimki forest in North Moscow…
The audio k7 will be available soon on Lobster Records.
Always with an arm cast I’m unable to draw, but I still can make stupid gig posters with old school collages and scribbles.
Urban Cactus - Spiky and bilingual punkblog -
I don’t post anything since mid-October because I fell in scooter during my job (I was delivering pizzas) and I broke my wrist. So I have an arm cast until I-don’t-know-when, therefore I can’t make new drawings. I have to occupy myself during this period of inactivity, so I created a blogspot where I share download links of music I like. I invite you to visit it until I feed my Tumblr again!
The first tattoo-related drawing I ever made, a friend asked me to do this to show to his tattooist what he wanted on his arm.
An old tattoo tentative.
My leather jacket back. Banlieue Rouge was a 90’s band from Québec, the logo was designed by their singer, who is now a well-known tattooist. I’ve reproduced this one entirely by hand. Karnage was an 80’s band, and probably my favourite french anarcho-punk band. I made this typography with a stencil. All was made with Posca pencils, and studs are from Crustpunks.com
A few years ago, I had a Deviantart. One day a bunch of neo-Nazis started to steal photos I made with skinhead friends. There is also a time when a picture of me (I was dressed up like a skinhead, my mohawk was shaved at this moment) was used by so-called apolitical skins, they put this picture on a poster for a doubtful gig in Québec… Each time, I got photos or drawings stolen by stupid neo-Nazis just because they like what I make about the skinhead culture, too stupid to reject the work of someone who is everything they hate (That said, it would be overstating these assholes to believe they are enough smart to think about it). But personally, I don’t want my creations to be liked by people I can’t stand. The only solution I found is to insert antiracist symbols or undertones, like this one with a Trojan helmet on his forearm and a boot crushing a swastika on the other arm. By this way, maybe my creations will be safe from fascist recovery.
